Aussie 65 riders selected for jnr FIM
World titles
Hunter Lawrence got the phone call yesterday to let him know he was picked as the reserve rider(3rd pick) after fellow competitors Wilson todd and Mitchell evans were chosen as the 2 riders to race the title. M.A are taking 2 riders in each class to France for the jnr world FIM titles in august and have selected 1 reserve in each class......
Hunter is still stoked with being selected as the 3rd choice from Motorcycling australia as it was still an honor to be picked as 1 of the top 3 riders in Australia for this age class and classed in the same league as them and other riders selected in older classes (Dinsdale Dobson and mann) Hunter said
"also while I would have loved to be 1 of the 2 going I am not too disappointed as i know where my pace is compared to them so it will be exciting to see where they end up in results against great riders overseas and i am also stoked that 3 Qlders got picked as we always race hard and battle together...i am also happy to be chozen for the second time as i got to represent australia for the oceania earlier this year i am really looking forward to getting to do more racing overseas"

Hunter 3rd in 2008 Australian Junior MX Titles
Wanneroo, Western Australia hosted this years Australian Junior Motocross Titles and every rider who made the trek across the Nullabor knew they faced two extreme challenges, The circuit itself with its ultra soft sand and the local riders, who definitly mastered carving it up. Hunter ,true to form stayed consistantly strong throughout the week posting podium finishes in the first two motos. Thursday's racing had Hunter racing two motos and the Waneroo circuit had hunter work for every point with falls in both motos. Hunters never give up attitude saw him charge from 17th place on lap 1 to a creditable 7th by lap 4 and earn every point 7th place brought. The second moto hunter lead lap 1 before falling but remounted to finish 8th. Friday's final moto was make or break for Hunter so when the gate dropped he set about making valuable points charging to a strong 2nd in the moto earning enough points to secure 3rd place overall sharing the podium with local riders Justin Hart in 1st and Lachlan Bassett in 2nd .
Stadium x Race Report 2010
I was excited to do this event and get in some race practice as I saw we would be having some racer's from NSW enter with the likes of coastal ktm's Egan Mastin and Jye Roberts and a few others like Clay Simmonds ,its always great to ride against different racers...
My first moto found me with an ok gate not the best it was peg draw and I got sorta an ok start 5th round first corner then moved up into 2nd before we went into the covered part and started tracking down the leader ..Ii had caught Mastin and managed to pass by linking some of the rythm sections together so it felt good to take the win on the 1st moto...
2nd moto taught me a good lesson as it pointed out were I need to work on and that's FOCUS....My reaction time was slow and I got a bad start pretty much at the end of the pack but instead of focusing on the track I was worring about the start and stuffing up getting the win which cost me as I only had enough time to get back to 2nd which made the 3rd moto the decider for the overall win ....
Before the last race dad and I sorted out some suspension problems with the help of MPE my suspension sponser and aswe lined up I was determined to finish ontop of the podium, my Crazy Dogz Kawasaki KX 85 was sick as it flew down the straight to get me the hole shot so I set about finishing what I had started with Egan on my heels I put down lap after lap and managed to get a good gap between myself and 2nd place and took the final moto and the overal win for the day....
I just want to say I really enjoyed racing with Egan as he is a great clean rider and I am stoked that my Moss Institute skill's came into play with this kind of track but whilst happy with the win there are still areas I really need to work on and together with the help of Mossy and Dad I will be more than ready for the shell sunstate series in feb...Thanks heaps to MOSS INSTITUTE ,CRAZY DOGS KAWASAKI, MPE SUSPENSION and LAZYBOY GRAPHICS. I am really grateful for the support these sponsors are giving me for 2010 ....cya
